HCG is available to assist homeowners in Guilford County and surrounding counties that are facing difficulties making their mortgage payment on time.

• HCG has a streamlined approach to help its clients figure out the best solution for their mortgage payment difficulties by researching loan modification options or recommending other long-term alternatives. We will also educate clients on better budgeting and money management skills to avoid future issues.
• HCG continues to monitor foreclosure trends and provides counseling with the goal of helping families stay in their homes.
• Housing Consultants Group is a HUD certified housing counseling agency. We offer counseling services for first time buyers, current homeowners, and individuals in need of credit help.
• Housing Consultants Group does not offer financial assistance or mortgage payment assistance.

Costs: There are no fees charged for Foreclosure Prevention Services.

Length: 1 initial intake session; 1 or more counseling sessions. Sessions may be virtual, by telephone or in person and each session is by appointment only.
