Building Healthier Futures Together — Celebrating Our New Partnership with The Foundation for a Healthy High Point

Housing Consultants Group (HCG) is proud to announce a powerful new funding partnership with The Foundation for a Healthy High Point. This collaboration marks a meaningful step forward in expanding access to homebuyer education and creating stronger pathways to homeownership in our community.
The Foundation has awarded $100,000 over a 2 year period to support HCG’s work—an investment that speaks to the value of financial education and the deep connection between homeownership, economic stability, and long‑term community health.
A Partnership Centered on Community Well‑Being
The Foundation for a Healthy High Point focuses on improving the health and wellness of the Greater High Point community by supporting initiatives that strengthen stability, reduce barriers, and improve quality of life.
The grant’s stated purpose—to support homebuyer education and create pathways to homeownership—aligns seamlessly with HCG’s mission. This investment helps ensure that more residents are financially prepared, more families can plan for their futures, and more households can access the transformative power of owning a home.

HCG celebrates National Community Development Week and our commitment to empowering Homeownership & Financial Wellness in High Point (April 2026).
Why Homeownership Matters for Community Health
Research consistently shows that when families achieve stable housing and financial security, communities benefit in measurable ways:
- Reduced stress and improved mental health
- Better health outcomes for children
- Increased economic mobility
- Stronger neighborhood stability
- Heightened civic engagement
At HCG, we witness these impacts every day. Our approach is informed by expertise and experience, including our active involvement and direct support of High Point’s Homebuyer Assistance Program. A financially informed homebuyer is not just purchasing a house—they are building generational resilience, strengthening their community, and contributing to a healthier High Point.
A message from Sofia Crisp, Executive Director, Housing Consultants Group:
“We are deeply grateful to The Foundation for a Healthy High Point for recognizing the powerful connection between homeownership, financial stability, and the overall health of a community. When families are secure in their homes and confident in their financial decisions, everything changes—from their stress levels to their long‑term opportunities. This support allows us to reach more residents, educate more first‑time buyers, and ultimately help build a stronger, healthier High Point.”
Looking Ahead with Gratitude and Excitement
This grant represents more than financial support—it symbolizes trust, alignment, and a shared vision for a healthier, more stable High Point. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Foundation’s leadership and staff for this generous investment in the future of High Point families.
Together, we are making homeownership—and healthier communities—possible.
